Head Coach Rebecca Burrell

Head Coach – Rebecca Burrell

There’s no place Coach Rebecca is happier than on a pool deck. She’s been with the Vikings since 2020, and also has been an assistant coach for the YNS Sharks since 2015, and was an assistant coach at WPI from 1996-2000, where she swam collegiately from 1992-1996. In 2022, she was honored to be named the Cape Ann League’s Tim Troy Coach of the Year for Swim & Dive. She’s Level 3 ASCA certified (Educational road), with one Triton swimmer qualifying for YMCA Nationals and many others reaching State and Sectional cut times, in addition to resetting all but two of the boy’s school records during her tenure. She has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and M.E. and Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, also from WPI. She formerly swam with Cambridge Master’s Swim Club (now Charles River Aquatics), where she attended several National Level Competitions and holds over a dozen times in the yearly top 10, along with several relay wins. Her overall focus as coach is to help our swimmers gain the same life-long love of the sport that she was lucky enough to receive from her own coaches over the years!
